However, there are some new features that aren't as big as the most talked about ones, but that are equally as important. While not completely secret, they are hiding in plain sight, and you might not have ever noticed them. We've done a lot of digging around in Windows 10, and these are our favorite lesser-known features that you should know about (in no particular order) for a better overall experience on your Windows PC.
10 Lesser Known Features Of Windows 10
Originally known as Project Spartan, the Microsoft Edge browser has been a bit of a dark horse and has been received favorably over Internet Explorer. Out of all of the cool Edge features, Reading Mode is worth a special mention since Edge currently has no support for ad blockers.
One of the most useful features introduced on Windows 7 was the ability to snap windows to certain areas of your screen. In Windows 10, a new collection of snapping features have been introduced that are great for those with large displays, wide displays or multiple displays.
1. Secret Start menu: Windows 10 has a second Start menu that allows accessing features such as Command Prompt, Control Panel and Task manager. One can either access it by pressing Windows key + X, or by right clicking the windows icon/Start button.
