We are working on making the UI much easier to navigate and handle, adding interactive tutorials to help ease players into MB2, fixing bugs with the launcher, and general QoL improvements over the next coming weeks and months. Today we will be going over some of those changes to the heart of Movie Battles as well as some other cool things we are adding!Most of what you are about to see are Work In Progress shots and the final version may not be the same.New User InterfaceWe are updating the base User Interface to make it much simpler, easier to understand, and more organized so that the most important bits of information are more front and center or are in much more sensible places. @Frost and @Starushka have been working for over a year now from concept to realization on this new UI and you may see the first little bit of it in the upcoming release as well as continuous upgrades to other parts of MB2s UI and additional code support over the coming months.Main screen:

Every Tuesday, Sony drops a bunch of new stuff onto the PlayStation Network. Those with a PlayStation 3 or PSP can download this new goodness, which ranges from PSN games to movies, themes and more. While the Official PlayStation Blog outlines these updates in full each week, we thought we'd help truncate the good news into something more digestible.
In terms of new standard PSN games, there are plenty of those, too. Risk: Factions has successfully made the jump over to the PSN and can be purchased for $9.99. Blokus, already available in some form for the PSP, can be purchased for play on the PS3 for $4.99. Five episodes of Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People are also now available. All five games can be bundled and purchased with a season pass for $14.99. Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones, an HD upgrade of the fairly-recent retail title, can be downloaded for $14.99. Echochrome II, the sequel to the strange-but-enjoyable Echochrome, can be yours for $14.99. The destruction-oriented game Eat Them! can be yours for $9.99, the same price as the Move-enabled Top Darts. And then there's Buzz! Quiz Player, which is free for all PlayStation Network users. People have been clamoring for more love from Square-Enix on the PSone Classics front. And it seems they've been listening, since the classic strategy-RPG Front Mission 3 is now available for $5.99.
The Interview has made headlinesfor weeks as part of the Sony hack story and its full theatrical releasewas scrapped and then reconfigured employing smaller chains and independenttheaters with an online component added in. The major chains refused toplay the film after threats of violence were made by the hackers. 36% ofthe four-day gross came from the first day making it the most front-loadedof all the films debuting on Christmas Day. Intense media attention createdintrigue which translated into solid upfront business. Some audiences werebuying tickets just to support freedom of speech. Reviews were mixed andaudience feedback now that the film is out has been somewhat good, butnot great. Sony is not planning any significant expansion of theaters.
