I just recently purchased the movie Uncharted along with 3 other movies. The 3 other purchased movies downloaded with no problem. However, I am unable to download Uncharted due to an Error 8266. I have confirmed that my iTunes is up to date on the current release of 12.10.11 so not sure what the problem is or what the workaround. I did try downloading Uncharted on another computer and received the same Error 8266. So the problem does not appear to be on my end but with iTunes.
I have the same issue with Uncharted as well (error 8266). Not the first time this has happened to me, I had the same thing with "Last Night in Soho" back in January when it first came out. It took about a week before I could download it.
Thanks for everyone's response to this issue. I am going to contact Apple to report the problem and to wait it out for a week or so. I would rather have the movie verses a refund if Apple can solve the problem on their server side. Stay Tune for updates!!
I have the same problem with uncharted I bought today around the same time you posted. I did however manage to download it directly onto my iPhone which uses the same appleid. Not sure if that helps diagnosis in any way.
You're correct, downloading on iPhone or iPad does work. Streaming on iPhone and iPad also works. However, the download does not transfer to PC via iTunes when you as to transfer purchase from the iPhone or iPad. Streaming on my Roku Apple TV app also does not work.
So something is weird server side with how Uncharted is provided to devices that aren't iPhone or iPad. Hopefull, as I said from previous experience (which also included the being able to download on iPhone and not iTunes on PC) it should start working in about a week.
Similar issue. All of the shows on Apple TV+ are streaming just fine on my TV. I purchased Uncharted and it plays for about 20 seconds then gives me an error message saying to check my internet connection (then stops playing). Internet is running at 900mbps, other streaming services playing movies just fine. Kinda annoying.
Same. Either 8266 or -50 errors. Won't download on Itunes (either through the program or directly from the Apple store). Streams only the audio channels (black screen). Isolated problem to this show only; downloads and streams other purchases without issue.
Won't stream at all on either smart TV with Apple TV app or to an older TV connected to an external Apple TV box. Will download and stream to iphone or ipad without apparent issue (haven't tried to watch it in it's entirety yet).
Before going on vacation last month, I downloaded a couple of Netflix shows to watch on the flight. On my return journey, I opened Netflix to watch Monsters, Inc. only to notice a big yellow warning that said Expired. It left me astounded.
This error is related to the one above. As we mentioned earlier, some content rights holders allow a fixed number of downloads for their creations. In this case, makers put a restriction on the number of downloads per year.
My laptop has my 4k Ultra/BlueRay/1080 movies stored in the 2 TB drive. The average file size ranges between 10gb - 80gb. I am running KODI on the laptop which then creates a library available to my TV via DLNA and on the Android Box, this is accessible via the UPNP option. The connections between all devices are Gigabit Ethernet.(minus the Denon)
Running movies of the highest bitrates are no problem with the current setup. If I copy the highest file size to a portable HDD (Transcend 2TB) and play it form the TV or Android box, that works fine too.
QUESTIONI am wanting to remove the LAPTOP from the mix and want to buy a NAS drive. My goal is to have the NAS work and serve for just LOCAL network play only. I will not have any other devices that need to access the NAS for movie playback. Only my 4k TV or the Shield/Android Box will be accessing it for playback at any given time (apart from that my I will downloading torrents to the NAS directly)
I know this is a long writeup, but I have been going mad with this for over two weeks now and I cannot finalize on what to get. I simply need the convenience of a NAS so that I do not need to download a torrent to the laptop HDD >> copy it over to a portable USB drive >> then connect it to the TV/Android box and then watch it >> then repeat the cycle.
Yes you can download direct to the NAS from an external device, I do this via a Raspberry Pi without any issues. As a side note, you can run Transmission (torrent client) directly from the NAS and it is already part of the listed Apps on the device. This would potentiallly take your laptop completely out of the loop in that respect.1a) If you are using a VPN then I would keep it on the laptop, the EX2 Ultra doesnt natively support OpenVPN itself and you would need custom (and not supported) firmware to get that working (there is info about that online if you look )
Radarr makes failed downloads a thing of the past. Password protected releases, missing repair blocks or virtually any other reason? no worries. Radarr will automatically blacklist the release and tries another one until it finds one that works.
There are two common problems with Docker volumes: Paths that differ between the Radarr and download client container and paths that prevent fast moves and hard links. The first is a problem because the download client will report a download's path as /torrents/My.Movie.2018/, but in the Radarr container that might be at /downloads/My.Movie.2018/. The second is a performance issue and causes problems for seeding torrents. Both problems can be solved with well planned, consistent paths.
Most Docker images suggest paths like /movies and /downloads. This causes slow moves and doesn't allow hard links because they are considered two different file systems inside the container. Some also recommend paths for the download client container that are different from the Radarr container, like /torrents. The best solution is to use a single, common volume inside the containers, such as /data. Your Movies would be in /data/Movies, torrents in /data/downloads/torrents and/or usenet downloads in /data/downloads/usenet.
Permissions and ownership of files is one of the most common problems for Radarr users, both inside and outside Docker. Most images have environment variables that can be used to override the default user, group and umask, you should decide this before setting up all of your containers. The recommendation is to use a common group for all related containers so that each container can use the shared group permissions to read and write files on the mounted volumes. Keep in mind that Radarr will need read and write to the download folders as well as the final folders.
linuxserver.io is one of the most prolific and popular Docker image maintainers. They also maintain images for most of the popular download clients as well. LinuxServer specifies a couple of optional default volumes such as /movies and /downloads. The default volumes are not optimal nor recommended. Our recommendation is to use a single volume for the data, as mentioned above.
If you want to play with "main game" (I understand you mean Party Mode). You need to create account in the game and MovieStats. By this after the game is finished your best movies will be exported to MovieStats. They will be then comparable with movies of other players. So statement that this is single player game and not affect other players is not exactly truth.
Solution. If you want to use cheat codes you can make donation on Bronze level. This will enable to you possibility to use cheat codes in Party game (but after using first cheat code which is related to cash export of the movies to MovieStats will be blocked so it will not affect Online BoxOffice in MovieStats).
Personally I use Windows Defender (which is quite good and up to date tool). I didn't got any information about viruses found in newest release. It happen in past that also Windows Defender raise some virus detection but I report my application to Microsoft they checked it and made update for Windows Defender to no report problem with it.
It is false positive. The install file has been checked with many antivius tools and most of them do not detect any problem. You can see the report in below link (even Microsoft Defender has no problem with it)
Sometimes some antivirus software detects problem with unpopular application (which were not installed on thouseds of PCc). As they based on heuristic (simply saying guessing) they often makes false reports. By default windows suspect not popular program which are not digitally signed as this appp. Unfortunately signing which makes application safe from OS point of view is possible only for companies (as Movie Business is hobby project even if I would paid for certificate it will not be granted for private person). 2ff7e9595c
